BEIJING – Over 80 travel agents and 30 journalists joined the recent Dubai Tourism promotion in Beijing as China officially resumes outbound tourism.
Dubai was recently ranked #1 in the world’s top travel destinations for the second year in a row by the Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice Awards 2023.
Official data showed that Dubai hosted 14.36 million foreign visitors in 2022, up 97 percent from 2021. Dubai’s hotel industry averaged 73 percent occupancy last year.
At the event, a representative of Dubai Tourism presented new developments and developments in Dubai’s tourism industry over the past three years, and partner airlines shared information on the resumption of routes and schedules of their flights between China and Dubai.
Recommended popular attractions in Dubai include Expo City Dubai, the Mohammed bin Rashid Library and the Museum of the Future.
Before COVID-19 swept the world in 2019, China was Dubai’s fifth largest tourism market. Since the opening of China, Dubai has continued to apply visa-free policies for Chinese visitors and convenient regulations to ensure they have a good travel experience.
