BANGKOK – Say hello to a cute 4-year-old baby elephant named Tula.
Tula loves to push and lie on her nanny while bathing.
Such touching behavior won the hearts of netizens.
Tula was separated from her herd at the Khao Soi Dao Wildlife Sanctuary in Chanthaburi province last October.
After discovering that the baby elephant was abandoned by other elephants, the reserve staff took care of him and named him “Tula”, which means October – the month when he was found.
Tula is now healthy and loved by officials. He loves to eat and play.
Wild elephants love to play with water as it keeps their skin clean and free from parasites. In addition to swimming and using their trunks to breathe underwater, elephants can also swim long distances.
