FLORES ( Jejakjurnalis.com ) – Gunungapi Lewotobi Laki-Laki terus menunjukkan aktivitas vulkanik yang signifikan sejak sepekan terakhir. Pusat Vulkanologi dan Mitigasi Bencana Geologi (PVMBG) menaikkan status gunungapi yang berada di wilayah Kabupaten Flores itu dari Level III (Siaga) menjadi Level IV (Awas) pada Selasa (9/1) pukul 23.00 WITA.

Data visual dari Pos Pengamatan Gunungapi Lewotobi Laki-Laki per pukul 18.00-24.00 WIB, secara visual teramati asap kawah bertekanan sedang hingga kuat berwarna putih kelabu dengan intensitas sedang hingga tebal setinggi 800-1.000 di atas puncak. Teramati sinar api di kawah utama Gunungapi Lewotobi Laki-Laki dengan lontaran lava pijar ke arah utara sejauh 50 meter dari kawah utama. Suara gemuruh lemah hingga sedang juga terdengar jelas.

Hasil rekaman instrumen data seismograf menunjukkan adanya gempa frekuensi rendah sebanyak 3 kali dengan amplitudo 7.4-29.6 mm dalam durasi 7-17 detik. Gempa vulkanik dangkal terekam sebanyak 2 kali dengan amplitudo 18.5-37 mm dalam durasi 11 detik. Sedangkan untuk microtremor terekam dengan amplitudo 3.7-7.4 mm yang dominan pada 7.4 mm.

Atas kenaikan level tertinggi untuk gejala aktivitas vulkanik gunungapi itu, maka direkomendasikan kepada masyarakat agar tidak melalukan aktivitas apapun di area 4 kilometer dari pusat kawah dan 5 kilometer sektoral ke arah utara – barat laut.

Apabila terjadi hujan abu vulkanik maka masyarakat diimbau untuk tetap berada di dalam ruangan. Jika terpaksa harus melakukan segala aktivitas di luar ruangan maka disarankan untuk tetap mengenakan masker.

“Tingkat aktivitas Gunungapi Lewotobi Laki-laki Level IV (AWAS) sejak 9 Januari 2024 pukul 23:00 WITA, dengan rekomendasi radius 4 km dari pusat kawah dan sektoral 5 km ke arah utara – barat laut,” jelas Iing Kusnadi, Penyelidik Bumi Utama, PVMBG, Rabu (10/1).

Lebih lanjut, Iing menjelaskan bahwa pihaknya akan terus memonitor dan melakukan evaluasi terkait adanya peningkatan aktivitas vulkanik Gunungapi Lewotobi Laki-Laki. Seluruh dasar pengambilan keputusan akan dilaksanakan berdasarkan hasil rekaman instrumen yang dimiliki oleh Pos Pemantauan Gunungapi di sana.

“Kita tetap berpatokan pada hasil rekaman instrumen jadi kita tetap mengikuti perkembangan dari erupsi tersebut,” tandas Iing.

Tetap Tenang dan Waspada

Sementara itu, Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD Kabupaten Flores Timur bersama Puskesmas setempat telah turun ke lapangan untuk membagikan masker sebagai antisipasi adanya sebaran abu vulkanik yang dapat berdampak pada kesehatan masyarakat. BPBD Kabupaten Flores Timur juga mengimbau seluruh masyarakat agar tetap waspada, tenang dan tidak terpancing dengan informasi yang beredar dari sumber yang tidak dapat dipertanggungjawabkan.

“Terkait penanganan di lapangan, sebelum meningkat ke level III dan sekarang menjadi level IV, BPBD dan Puskesmas Boru sudah melakukan pembagian masker sekaligus menghimbau warga lewat grup WA yang beranggotakan Para Camat dan Kades/ Lurah agar tetap waspada,” jelas Plt. Sekretaris BPBD Kabupaten Flores Timur, Yohanes Bergman.

Lebih lanjut, masyarakat juga diminta untuk terus memperbarui perkembangan erupsi Gunungapi Lewotobi Laki-Laki dan mengikuti seluruh arahan dari pemerintah. Sebelumnya pada Rabu dini hari pukul 01.30 WIB sempat terjadi kepanikan warga atas peningkatan aktivitas vulkanik yang menyusul ditetapkannya status gunungapi tersebut. Tim SAR gabungan kemudian berpatroli untuk menenangkan warga dan memberikan informasi secara detil perkembangan gunungapi setinggi 1.737 mdpl itu.

“Untuk menghindari informasi hoaks, kesatuan TNI-POLRI bersama TIM SAR GABUNGAN senantiasa melaksakan patroli dan mengedukasi masyarakat agar selalu mengikuti arahan pemerintah,” jelas Yohanes.

Warga Dievakuasi

Sebagai bentuk antisipasi dari dampak masif dari erupsi Gunungapi Lewotobi Laki-Laki, BPBD Kabupaten Flores Timur bersama tim gabungan membantu proses evakuasi warga yang tinggal di Desa Nawakote, Desa Tatanlo dan Desa Hokengjaya Kecamatan Wulanggitang ke Desa Bori yang jaraknya kurang lebih 5-8 km dari lokasi.

Adapun hingga Selasa (9/1), total warga yang mengungsi ada sebanyak 5.057 jiwa dan tersebar di beberapa titik yang meliputi 2.559 jiwa di lokasi tenda pengungsian yang tersebar di 6 titik, kemudian 2.401 jiwa di rumah kerabat yang tersebar di 23 titik desa, selanjutnya 374 jiwa di gedung sekolah di 5 kecamatan dan 94 jiwa di fasilitas umum yang ada di 2 titik.

Terkait penambahan penungsian, Yohanes mengatakan pihaknya akan melakukan rapat koordinasi lanjutan. Terkait jumlah terkini dari keseluruhan warga yang mengungsi, pria yang kerap disapa Yoris itu menuturkan bahwa hingga pagi ini masih dalam proses kaji cepat lanjutan. Perkembangan jumlah pengungsi akan diperbarui dalam waktu sesegera mungkin.

“Penambahan posko pengungsi sedang dirapatkan di posko utama dipimpin oleh Sekda Kabupaten Flores Timur,” pungkas Yohanes.
